The Coriolis measuring principle directly determines mass flow from the effect of the moving fluid on oscillating measuring tubes. The same sensor can simultaneously measure mass flow, density and temperature, while additional variables such as volume flow, corrected volume, concentration and viscosity can be calculated depending on the configuration.
